FA cup or UEFA cup ?
|
If someone were to offer you one win this season ,in either , what would it be ? l think for the older ones on here, like me it’s got to be the FA cup , l would imagine the young ones would prefer the UEFA but that day at Wembley in 1980 from the early morning meet at Mile End till falling out the Denmark Arms late ,is still one of the best days in my life !

If I had to choose one, it would be the FA Cup, because the UEFA Cup doesn’t exist.
Only joking, I would actually choose the Europa League. I’m under 50 if that counts as young.

Europa League purely as we’ve won the FA Cup before, then again I’d like to see us win the League Cup for the first time ever

We have more chance to win Europa as Man City / Liverpool and Chelsea are not in it.

Europa League without any doubt.
I'm in my mid forties. Can I claim to be young?

The Europa by a mile with its spot in the CL for the winner, and given who is in it, we really do have a great chance, agree with Manuel its maybe the easier of the2 to win as well and no other PL teams in it either, a couple of decent sides still in the mix though with the 3rd place CL sides that have come down, Dortmund especially I think we should hope to avoid until later rounds, Barcelona their but they are a shadow of the team of a few years back, would still love them in the final though! Of the rest, most we should and can beat, I’m actually very optimistic this competition barring no fuck ups.

I'd have to say Europa, even though, like other old gits, the FA Cup has given me some wonderful memories.
Winning Europa would make a much bolder statement to the rest of football and, I believe, help attract more of the types of players we need to build on that success.
An FA Cup run can turn on a single VAR decision - just ask Villa.

Europa all day long. CL is where it's at if we want to progress. Raises the clubs profile and finances.
